75 Gallon Gas Water Heater Installation Done Right

A 75-gallon gas water heater isn't a small job. It takes the right equipment, a solid understanding of gas line connections, venting requirements, and pressure management - and zero shortcuts. This is exactly the kind of install we take seriously at Veteran's Plumbing Services.

Here's what we were working with: a Rheem Performance gas unit seated on a proper metal stand, with a thermal expansion tank mounted up top and clean copper connections running into the supply lines. The venting is routed correctly through the flue above. Every component has a job to do, and every component was installed to do it safely.

That expansion tank isn't just an accessory. In a closed plumbing system, pressure builds up as water heats and expands. Without a properly sized expansion tank, that pressure has nowhere to go - and it puts stress on your tank, your valves, and your pipes. We don't skip that step.

A lot of homeowners don't think about their water heater until something goes wrong. A puddle on the floor, lukewarm showers, or a unit that's been running for 10-plus years without a checkup. If any of that sounds familiar, it's worth getting eyes on your system before a repair turns into a full replacement.

We handle water heater installs and repairs for both gas and electric units. Whether you're dealing with an aging tank or signs of water damage around your existing unit, we'll give you a straight answer on what needs to be done.
